The SimuSurg Serious Game was created with surgeons, for surgeons.

Developed by cmee4 Productions in collaboration with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS),it simulates a minimally invasive surgical setting and provides an engaging, fun and interactive way to learn about the fundamentals of surgical skills in a gaming environment. Prospective surgeons are the target audience.
SimuSurg was the Indie Category winner at the Serious Games Showcase & Challenge Australasia (SGSCA) 2018, held by Simulation Australasia.

The Serious Game was showcased at SimGHOSTS 2018, a health simulation conference held on the Sunshine Coast in June, and allows users to challenge themselves from simple control movement exercises to more complex tasks associated with using various instruments.

Winners were presented with trophies and received instant entry to attend and represent Australia at the global Serious Games Showcase & Challenge to be held as part of I/ITSEC in Orlando, Florida, November 26th-30th 2018.

SimuSurg guides players through four levels of clinical scenarios designed to deliver progressively challenging tasks in a virtual surgical environment. Players practice instrument familiarization, degrees of movement, movement scaling and cutting and grasping.
